World's first LAB-grown burger has been eaten by British scientists

LONDON, UK - Scientists have created the world's first lab-grown burger. The burger was made with cells from cows which were grown systematically at an institute in the Netherlands. The
cells were turned them into strips of muscle that they combined to make a patty.

The burger was then flown to London where it was cooked and eaten at a news conference on Monday.

Many European researchers fear that in a few years there would not be enough cattle to provide meat for everyone. The scientists have therefore come up with the perfect solution - lab grown meat. This would remove the need for cattle and all the work and money involved with breeding them.

Would you care to try one?
