Many people have tried to start-up in UK, France, Italy and in Spain but have failed or given up. Some who survived are merely struggling along. It is not a secret that it is difficult to start up in Europe compared with US, Asia or Africa. Apart from tough regulations, there is the European mentality that everyone should be an employee and work for a 'big' company or for the government and the impression that the laws have been set up to keep people under control. If you are 'too ambitious', earn 'too much' or aim for lots of wealth, it is seen as vulgar or evil, friends and family see your entrepreneurial spirit as strange and doomed to fail, schools train you up to be average and can only succeed if you come from a 'connected'
