AFRICA - Payments
technology company MasterCard is expanding in Africa. The finance company is taking
advantage of Africa’s robust economic growth, steady population growth, encouraging
political outlook and of course the continents increasing need for innovative
and secure payment solutions.
MasterCard added
Chad, Central African Republic, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Rwanda
and Gambia to its operating base providing services 48 markets in Africa.
Recently, MasterCard sealed an e-payments deal with Africa’s Ecobank.
