French President, Francois Hollande in 'Mills and Boon' style love affair with two women

FRANCE - The French are having one of their soap operas again. This time the 'Mills and Boon' type drama is being played out by the Prime Minister of France himself, Francois Hollande. 

It is alleged by French media that Francois Hollande, is engaged in an affair with a new woman behind his long term partner, First Lady Valerie Trierweiler's back.  And his new beau, is actress Julie Gayet. The news has gone round world and is the talk of Paris.

The Hollande Women

Julie Gayet, is a 41-year-old married mother of two who began her career to be an actress studying at the Actor’s Studio in London at the age of 17.

Valérie Trierweiler, a shapely, split-skirt-wearing magazine writer, hailed by her own publication as “the world's sexiest journalist”.

Ségolène Royal, a glossily-coiffed fellow politician, with whom he would go on to have four children, but never marry. 

Valérie Trierweiler was allegedly responsible for the Prime Minister and Ségolène splitting up when she went to their home to interview them about their political rivalry. Valérie Trierweile still being married to her second husband at the time and maintaining a further relationship with a former finance minister, Patrick Devedjian.

When the news of the affair was broken to the First Lady," Valerie Trierweiler, it was reported that she was broke down and was later rushed into hospital suffering from shock and depression.

French leader, Francois Hollande was said to have been seen recently, by members of the public sneaking off on a scooter at night to meet his new beau. 

'Love stories' are not new to the French and their leaders. According to the Express,  "a century ago, President Felix Faure was, as one newspaper at the time put it, "sacrificed to Venus": he died while receiving oral sex from his mistress. President Mitterand was dubbed by his wife "Francois the seducer" because of his extra-marital activities."

The French now want their Prime Minister to come out clean and tell them who he wants as his partner, Julie Gayet or Valerie Truerweiker. 

The Brits are baffled buy this whole set up. (Mind you, the Brits are mostly hypocritical, they have affairs too - in secret. For them it is all good until you get caught). 

According to a top French commentator, the French don't really mind as it is the culture for a man or man to have affairs. She went on, "If you are good at your job, it doesn't' matter if a man is deceitful to his wife or a wife to her husband."
