LONDON, UK -Duchess of Cambridge is in labour - at last! She has spent most part of the day in hospital after being admitted into St Mary's hospital, Paddington in the early hours of Monday. Her husband Prince William was with her during the journey to the private wing of
the hospital and is said to be at her side. Crowds have gathered at Buckingham Palace and at the hospital. Photographer from all over the world have also set up in the hospital grounds to capture the first shpots of the new arrival.
The Duchess has being in labour for 12 hours but there is still no sign of a birth. It is not clear whether medical staff have begun to induce the birth.
Shortly before 6 a.m. Kate arrived with William at the hospital and they entered through a back gate. At 7.30 am Kensington Palace gave this statement:
Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London, in the early stages of Labour."
The Queen returned to Buckingham Palace from her holiday in Windsor to be close by when her new great child arrives. The child whether a boy or girl will be third in line to the throne - after Prince Charles and Prince William.
Once baby is born, the announcement will be made. A letter headed paper signed by the doctors will be taken to Buckingham Palace by a limo convoy to Buckingham Palace and placed on an easel just at the entrance of the palace.
So, what do you think it will be, a boy or a girl?
