The new parents came out through the doors of the hospital carrying their new born son and said the experience was emotional and they were still working on a name. Baby is now safely at home!
On Monday evening, the whole world received news of the royal birth with glee. The Queen said she was delighted, Prime Minister David Cameron said he was 'very happy' and throughout the commonwealth the news is being followed with interest.
Prince William and Princess Kate were delivered of their baby boy at the hospital in Paddington, London. Today, the Prince of Wales, Charles and his wife, Camilla Duchess of were the first to arrive to see the baby. This was the first time that Prince Charles would see his first grandson. Camilla is already has five grandchildren.
Next to arrive were the baby's maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Middleton. With broad smiles on their faces which could only have said, 'we are the grandparents of a royal child' they too went in to see the new arrival.
