Congratulations
to Prince Charles, the first in line throne of England who has become a grandfather for the first time. And of course, we congratulate the Duke and Duchess of
Cambridge of England who were delivered of a son - the baby is third in line to the Queen and will one day become king of England.
The baby born at the St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London, weighed 8lbs and 8oz and was born at 16.24 on Monday 22 July 2013. The Duchess was a week overdue.
A statement written by the doctors who delivered the baby was sent to Buckingham palace and placed on an easel in the front courts of Buckingham Palace.
This is the first time that there will be three heirs to the throne alive at the same time since 1828.
The Queen and Prince Phillip are said to be elated.
