| OGMGUK and Ireland Lit Day |
Well, who would forgotten last year's MGHS Old Girls' Lit Day? I can promise you that not one of the 200 plus old girls and guests present at last year's Lit Day event will ever forget that memorable day! It will be a day to always look back on fondly.
Not only was it a first - well, I mean who has ever attended a Lit Day event outside of Lagos, Nigeria before? Uniform clad men and women in their forties, fifties and even sixties came out in full force to support our noble fund raising event.The event was jam packed, fun and beautifully organised. The music was another matter and the food...OMG!
The MGHS OGA Lit Day is a fundraising event organised by old girls of MGHS, Yaba worldwide to raise money for the school.To truly be a part of this memorable event, you must come dressed in your old school uniform! At least try to where school colours at least😊
WHY?
The Lit Day is happening again this year and once again it is to raise money for our old school MGHS, Yaba, Lagos - money raised will go towards rebuilding the dilapidated blocks on the school premises. Work has since started and we need more money to complete the projects.
Last year, we are proud to say we raised a substantial amount. This year we are hoping to raise even more to help renovate our old school. Please, JUMP ON BOARD!!!
WHEN?
The OGMG UK and Ireland Lit Day will take place on Saturday 7 July 2018. Doors will open at 5pm. Make you sure you put on your dancing shoes and get ready to have FUN!
WHERE?
The event will take place at the The Petchey Academy, Shacklewell Lane, London, E8 2EY. Let’s take another trip down memory lane with a blast from the past. Get your School Uniform! Shine your shoes! It promises to be a night to remember with
