I would like to know the stylist who chose Prince Williams blue tones for his new baby's hospital photo shoot? Impressively, the blues even matched with his son's and contrasted with his wife's sunny yellow colour print dress. Many of us are at odds with what to wear and how to look for those important family snaps. So, here is how to look like royalty without breaking the bank:
No. 1 - A classic navy suit. According to these photographs that I found on stylebistro.com, Prince William often wears navy blue suits at formal occasions not black. The colour was originally used by the navy and was called navy blue. The blue comes in varying shades of dark blue. To look like a prince, team a navy blue suit up with skyblue cotton shirts and matching navy trousers or grey for a more casual look.
No.2 - A white pocket square. I have noticed that male members of the British royal family wear a white handkerchief in the left breast pocket of their suit. This makes the suit look squeaky clean and the whiteness is a brilliant contrast to a royal blue suit.
No.3 - A sky blue cotton shirt. Light blue looks really cook when combined with a royal blue suit. So, grab a plain woven cotton shirt in sky blue or light blue to look prestigious. Only wear a white shirt if you have no other options.
No.4 - A wine or wine and blue patterned or striped tie. To look the part ,y our suit must be buttoned up when you are walking about. There should be no tie blowing in the wind.
No.5 - A 22 carat gold brooch. Many members of the royal family have won awards for various achievement from the navy, air force or they got them as gifts from other heads of state. You can get yours too from amazon. Check them out here.
No.6 - Black brogue shoes. Brogues shoes are a classic. You can not look like royalty without wearing a pair of heavy shiny brogues. A pair of suede loafers are a must too!
No.7 - A wristwatch. The princ3 does not wear any ring. His father Prince Charles, however, wears a signet ring over a gold band on the little finger of his left hand as the upper class often do.To keep the rich boy image, Prince Williams
of Wales – Duke of Cambridge wears Omega Professional
Seamaster (Approx. £2,000). If all you are after is the image, you can get a replica here.
No.8 - A range rover.
No.9 - Find a career that builds your image for example, military, philanthropy or charity. Don't ever think of becoming an entrepreneur, professional or skilled worker like an engineer. You can only appear to look helpful to your country in general. So, defending your people is the best for men and charity for women.
No.10 - A beautiful smart wife and children. Prince William and Kate got married in 2012 and now have two childen to complete their family. That's what the upper class do. At least a couple of heirs to the family treasure is very important.
Anything I missed? If you have more ideas, please leave a comment below.
