Follow these steps and it will save you time, money and
peace of mind:
STEP ONE: Go to the Nigerian High Commission website.
Read security instructions – on pop up page. To summarize,
it states the Commissions visiting hours which are from 11am-5pm and
strictly by appointment. The strictly by appointment bit is not entirely true. Plus,
the commission close at 4.30pm.
STEP ONE: You will be visiting the Commission for your visa
at some point, when you do, you must go
to through the Immigration or Consular Service side entrance not the front
entrance. Once you enter, there is no screening as such and you don’t have to
wear any Identity cards or tags.
Everyone and
everything except cars and trucks are allowed into the Commission. You
may be told to switch of your mobile phone though. CCTV may be in operation so
beware of your actions.
STEP THREE: Start your application online by clicking on the visa-requirements tab and briefly read through what you need before you apply.
