Would you breast feed your five year old child in public?

Would you even breast feed your child until the age of five?
Western moms have often been told off for breast-feeding and many believe breast-feeling is un-cool. Babies, they say are better off bottle fed. You will never find a woman breast feeding in public in any of the big cities of Europe of the USA, special mother and baby rooms

are often annexed to ladies toilets where young children can be fed and changed. But now, a new breed of moms is emerging. Some moms choose to breast feed their children until the aged of five or six. 

Benefits 

In Africa, this is not news, especially in rural areas where breast feeding is used to control birth rates. As long as a mom breast feeds her baby fully without mixing the feeds with artificial milk, then birth is controlled for as long as the baby is breast feed properly. If a mom wants to have another baby, she stops breast feeding. Breast feeding has also been used to reduce the enlarged uterus after birth. Studies have shown that moms who don't breast feed have to exercise more to get back into shape. Breast feeding according to the National Health Organisation, also helps reduce allergies such as asthma and eczema in children. Plus, it creates a bond between mother and child.
