At the International Art Exhibition , artists are creating art based on the Forbidden Fruit project that explores the perception of how the naked body is viewed.

The exhibition is due to take place 5th - 8th November 2011 at the REAL WORLD GALLERY in BRICKLANE, ALDGATE, London. The organizers said it is all about shedding light on people’s feelings concerning sexualities as a threat rather than aesthetic .The reason for this type of art is that it will have a stronger representation to empower

This exhibition contains Explicit Nudity so is only suitable for adults! An adults-only exhibition of provocative art is likely to cause a stir when it comes to Croydon.
Disruptive Landscape, a free art exhibition by Ruth Bircham, is a sneak preview of a wider exhibition showing later in the year in Shoreditch.

The exhibition, which contains explicit nudity, reflects “life from all angles” according to the self-taught artist, who is part of art movement Forbidden Fruit.
Miss Bircham, who has a BA in Fine Arts and Combined Media, added: “We believe that the body in any size or shape is beautiful.

“When the art is seen by the viewer these images may reflect their own lifestyles, intimacy, isolations and rigidity.
“These art pieces will be very confrontational.”
As well as the art, by Miss Bircham and other artists, there will be live music by local musicians.
The exhibition takes place on Sunday, July 17 from 6pm to 9.30pm at the Scream Lounge in South End, Croydon.
