Asthma UK said that “faulty inhalers could put people’s lives at risk” as it called on patients to check whether their inhaler needed to be returned.

Donald Trump offers to arm teachers in schools to combat gun violence

Praying at the beginning of the meeting at the White House

USA - President Trump plans to arm school and college teachers with guns to combat the shootings in America. The president invited victims of the Florida shooting to the White House who shared their grief and asked the President to done to stop the use of guns by members of the public.

Here is an excerpt of what Trump said at the meeting:

Showing empathy'...we don't want others to go through the kind of pain that you've gone through,'

The president broached the topic of armed guards in school, adding,

'I think a lot of people are going to be opposed to it. A lot of people are going to like it. But the good thing is that you'll have a lot of people with that.

'You know, you can't have 100 security guards in Stoneman Douglas. That's a big school, that's a massive school with a lot of acreage to cover, a lot of floor area,'

'So that would be certainly a situation that is being discussed a lot by a lot of people. You would have a lot of people that would be armed. They would be ready. They are professionals. They may be Marines – that left the Marines, left the Army, left the Air Force – and they are very adept at doing that.'

The discussion with parents and teachers connected to the Parkland, Florida, shooting included more than a dozen student survivors who also urged Trump to take action.

Parents and students affected by the Sandy Hook and Columbine shootings were in the room, as well, alongside local teachers and students talked about D.C.'s local crime problem.

The president spoke briefly at the top, and sympathetically asked questions several times in the middle of the meeting that aired live on national television, working off of notes that prompted him to ask, 'What would you most want me to know about your experience' and 'What can we do to help you feel safe?' and 'I hear you.'

Hopefully soon the US will follow in the tracks of Australia and ban all guns used by civilians and control others who have access to them.

Strikes are currently scheduled for the next four weeks until mid-March, but could be extended for another three months.

64 UK institutions will be hit with 14 days of strikes over the next four weeks if the dispute is not resolved.

KFC customer filmed workers 'smuggling' raw chicken in the back door

UK, London - A KFC customer filmed workers 'smuggling raw chicken in the back door' amid delivery problems. Watch now...

6 Facts you never knew about KFC

Did you know that...
  • the seasoning ingredients used to coat the famous succulent KFC chicken is only know to 4 top officials of KFC.
  • that the four directors are never allowed to travel on the same plane in case they all died in a crash and took the secret with them.
  • this secret has been kept since Colonel David Sanders starred the franchise in 1930. By 2014, there are 18,875 KFC outlets in 118 countries and territories located across the world. The first KFC franchise opened in the United States in 1952, and in Canada a year later. There are 27 units in Nigeria.
  • 42% of people are addicted to KFC in UK according to Stastica.
  • 99% of KFC customers eat their finger licking chicken with their fingers and chew on the chicken bones!

KFC ALERT! UK customers go hysterical over chicken shortage

KFC in Hounslow

Notice at the door - LIMITED chicken today
UK - On Wednesday, the police in Tower Hamlets in London were called to the local KFC restaurant to keep order when customers became hysterical because they were unable to buy their favourite chicken.  All over the UK the story was the same. The notices read, 'No chicken today!'

Large crowd of customers were seen waiting outside the KFC restaurants all over London. A manager at one restaurant became concerned so he sent a couple of assistants to buy chicken from the nearby shop to sell to the angry customers. When the customers realised this, they pounced on the assistants and threw the chicken away.  Police were called but the police refused to attend warning everyone not to call them as the matter of no chicken was not criminal.

What a laugh! Although, this unfortunate drama has added 'brownie'points to KFC's reputation and it shows how dearly the people in the UK love KFC.

Social Media goes 'crazy' over 'locks' worn by Little Mix singer

Social media went 'crazy' on Monday when some users demanded Little Mix member Jesy Nelson delete an Instagram post of herself wearing her hair in beautiful-locks (not dreadlocks - there is nothing dreadful about these beautiful-locks...is there)?
The 26-year-old singer unveiled her new hairstyle on Monday evening, but some followers on the platform suggested the picture was offensive to black people.
Nelson was accused of "cultural appropriation" and there were calls for her to apologise.
Some even said, everyone is free to wear any hair style. One commented: "Is it right to tell black people not to dye their hair blonde? No it isn't. Why? Because they can do what they choose."
Erm, who said black people don't have natural blond hair? I think the only appropriation by black people in the battle of hair maybe straight hair worn by people who have natural tight curly hair. But not all black Africans have tight curly hair. African hair comes in many varieties - some curly, some wavy, some straight.

Kentucky Fried Chicken aka 'KFC' - runs out of chicken throughout the United Kingdom

Are you one of the 2 million customers who cannot do without biting into a succulent piece of KFC? Well, there is bad news...gone is the Mini variety meal. Gone are the 'hot wings/' Gone is the BUCKET! At least, for another five days.

Why? Delivery problems have left some KFC outlets without chicken and the famous #secret seasoning used to create the unique KFC taste.

Many KFC restaurants will therefore remain closed for the rest of the week, while others will have a reduced menu or shortened hours. In fact, over half of the fast food chain's 900 outlets in its UK-based division have been shut.

Last week, the fried chicken chain switched its delivery contract from Bidvest to DHL, which has blamed "operational issues" for the supply disruption.

Earlier, a KFC spokesperson said: "We anticipate the number of closures will reduce today [Tuesday] and over the coming days as our teams work flat-out all hours to clear the backlog.

KFC had hoped that the backlog of deliveries would be dealt with as quickly as possible by Tuesday but that has not happened.

In DHL's latest statement, the company's John Boulter said the company regretted the "interruption of supply" and apologised for the "inconvenience and disappointment caused to KFC and their customers".

KFC has set up a web page where "fans" can find their nearest outlet that is still open.

12 amazing things to do on Valentine's Day

Hey, it's here at last! That special day set aside for lovers and loved ones alike. It's the 14th of February. Now, while some people believe it's just a kinda gimmick for shops to rack in money, many others spend the day showing their special interests how much they love them.

The 'show' of love can take many different forms such as buying gifts, experiences, staying indoors or dressing up and going for a meal.

I got chatting with an old friend yesterday and she confessed that she had been frantically looking for something different to give her husband - after 16 years of marriage, they had seen and done it all.

So, I promised her that I would do some snooping around and find out what other friends were doing to celebrate and here is what I found...

12 amazing ways to celebrate St. Valentine's Day for couples:

Bake a 'love' cake together. Simply use a square or round cake tin to bake your cake. Then, when the cake has cooled down, cut it into a heart shape using a template. Decorate with white and red icing. You can buy all your cake materials from Hello Mamo Shop - opening soon!

Go to the cinema. Dress up to your nines and watch a romantic film together whilst nibbling on popcorn and lemonade. Alternatively, watch a movie at home. Send the cildren away to your parents or baby sitter and turn down the lights while you watch your favourite love movie over a 'takeway.'

Give each other a massage. Prepare the scene. Some like red rose petals while some prefer candles. Do whatever you fancy as ling as you create that 'romantic atmosphere.' Play your favourite love song and use aromatic oil to give each other a back massage...nothing too sizzling...oops!

Have a bath together. This is only if you can both fit into the bath or if you have an extra large bath! Fill the bath with warm water. Add some pink food colouring. Ass some bubble bath. Light some red candles and sprinkle some red rose petals onto the bubble. Sink in and relax.

Play your favourite love tunes. Turn down the lights...I love Christmas lights. Then, dance like it is just the two of you left in the world.

Play a game of scrabble. The rule is that you can only create words which relate to love only. So, you can create words like Romeo, Titanic, patient, kund etc. The person with the most points wins the game and has to choose the dinner for the night.

Dress up for the night and take loads of selfies together. Make different faces and then print the best 10 photographs out in black and white. Cut around the photos in heart shapes and stick them into a scrap book. Take turns to write up to 30 things you like about each other around each photograph.

Cook a special meal together while listening to music. You need to prepare the meal from scratch. So, you decide what to cook. You must both go out to buy the ingredients together and make something special. When you have finished, you lay the table with candles, music and finish it off with a bottle of champagne.

Write a love letter to each other. Find somewhere to sit comfortably and begin to write a love leter to your partner. Let them know why you love them and remind them of how and where you met. Tell them why you will cherish them forever. When you have finished, exchange the letters and read them out to each other.

Have a meal at the Shard. Travel up to the top of the Shard and dine in one of the finest restaurants in the world whilst looking down at the beautiful twinkling lights of London city.

Check in overnight to your local hotel. Do I need to say more?

Travel to Paris for the day and climb the Eiffel Tower. Spend the moment watching the sun set.

Draw a portait of each other. You may think this one is difficult but trust me...it is dead easy. All you need is a pencil and some paper. All you need to do is to just draw. Once you have finished, add a quote about love. You can make up one...then frame it and give it to your partner.

Make love chocolates. Make your own chocolates using love shaped moulds. Simply heat white and black chocolates. Give it a gentle swirl and pour the mixture into the moulds. Let them cool and once hard, you can enjoy your love chocs!

You will soon be able to buy gifts, candles, cake materials, art, chocolate, stationery, aromaric oil and many more at Hello Mano Shop!

Marvel's 'Black Panther' is the film to watch this year!

A scene from Marvel Studios' "Black Panther."
PHOTO: Matt Kennedy
'Black Panther' opened on Tuesday in London, UK. The new film from Marvel Studios did not fail to thrill. It was action packed, thought-provoking and truly amazing. Both political and historical.
With a $165 million projected opening, this definitely makes 'Black Panther' probably the highest growing Marvel Studios film of all-time. It takes its rightful place alongside 'Captain America: Civil War.'

Not only reviews are gathering momentum, this film is set to be the biggest February opening ever in the history of film globally. More significantly, 'Black Panther' is on pace to become the biggest African American film of all time. If you thought 'Get Out' was amazing, 'Black Panther' is mind boggling!
The cast of outstanding actors is lead by an African Americans cast, director and writer. Namely, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Forest Whitaker, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Andy Sarkis, Daniel Kaluuya, John Kani and Sterling K Brown. With super talented Ryan Coogler directing, (his third film...after madsively successful 'the Creed' and 'Fruitvale') what else would anyone expect from Coggler except for the best.

Black Panther' is definitely set to rack in the dollars and it would quite easily surpass by miles, the $288 made by the best black film ever, 'Coming to America.' To go straight to the point, this film is simply a hit - showing black excellence on the big screen.
This is film to be watched in year by both Marvel fans and newcomers.
