Donald Young tackles Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon today - Will Young shine through today?

Wimbledon Tennis opens - As I watch this young tennis player from America play profession, Wimbledon champion, Rafael Nadal, I wonder who he is. My tennis loving son tells me that he is in the top 100 in the world and was a youth champion aged 16. So, I ask what happened to him, where did it all go wrong? I look him up quickly and this is what I found:

Donald young is from a poor family. He was discovered quite young, when he was about 7. When he was 13 he was already signed up to the USTA - the United States Tennis Association. Reports say that the USTA allegedly threatened him to leave his parents as he was very close to them and they wanted control over him. He told them he couldn't so they stepped back and stopped putting him forward for competitions. Around this time, he was 13 and he tweeted a swear word at the USTA and that appaently was the start of the 'war' between Young, his parents and the USTA.

Today, Young plays Nadal at Wimbledon and traits of his strength and talent keep shinning through and I wish Young all the best - I truly think he deserves a break.
