What the country-wide protests in the US say about President elect - Donald Trump

The world woke up to violent protests in America. Millions of people across the country are voicing their annoyance against Trump winning the elections. In New York and in California
people carrying placards saying 'NOT OUR PRESIDENT' and BLACK LIVES MATTER protested throughout the night.' They insist that Trump does not represent them.

So, what do these protests say about Trump ad democracy in America?
  • Over 300,000 more people voted for Hilary Clinton than for Donald Trump
  • African Americans and Latinos do not have faith in Trump and cannot see themselves in the any future plans
  • Younger people are more aggrieved over the type of democracy which is developing in the USA.
  • Millions are uneasy about the threat of deportation, less privilege and rights
The questions are:
Would the police remain neutral?
Would Donald Trump be able to reach out to the people he side lined during his campaign?
Would he be able to reconcile the two separated fractions in the country?
