hosted by GoDaddy are also down. All domains registered with GoDaddy that uses its nameservers and DNS records are down. That means that even if you have registered your website domain name with GoDaddy it is currently inaccessible.
Anonymous Own3r, the security leader of Anonymous has said that it is responsibility for the attack. Hacker News also reported that GoDaddy’s phone support is also down.
Here is how to switch from GoDaddy once it is up and running again:
Step 1. Log on to GoDaddy
Log onto the GoDaddy welcome page and go to DOMAINS, then select MANAGEMENT, then DOMAIN MANAGEMENT.

Step 2. Check Domain Lock Status
With your mouse over your domain name, this will let you know the status of your domain. Hoover over your domain name and a padlock icon will appear. If the padlock is locked go to step 3. If it is not, go to Step 4.
Step 3. Unlock your DomainSelect MANAGE LOCKING. A box will appear with a check to show that your site is locked. Uncheck the box and select OK.
4. Get Your Authorization Code
Select on the domain name you want to transfer and on the "Domain Details" page, scroll to DOMAIN INFORMATION then scroll to Authorization Code: Send by Email. Here you will get the authorization code which you will copy and take to your new registrar.
Select this option and then check your email account for an authorization code from GoDaddy. You can now give this information to your new registrar.
