After the shocking revelations, the passionate exchanges between the brides parents and the estranged daughter-in-law Lovely, Mercy Johnson wedding went ahead as planned over the weekend without a hitch. Thanks to the tight security as over 50 policemen guarded the gates of Christ Embassy in Oregun and later secured the 10 degree reception venue.
Pastor Chris Okotie the senior pastor of the church was absent. The wedding ceremony was conducted by a junior pastor in the church called Tom. Our Lagos correspondent told me that Pastor Chris had made a decision not to be entangled in the whole sage.
The bride and groom both wore white and excited parents of the bride and groom were in attendance wearing gorgeous George attires. There were many of Mercy's Nollywood friends including Genevieve Nnaji, Emeka Ike, Jim Iyke, Segun Arinze, Keneth Okonkwo, Patience Ozonkwo, Chinedu Ikedieze, Majid Mitchel, Francis Duru, Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Mike Ezunronye.

The after party was quite a happy occasion with AY as MC, DJ Jimmy Jatt the DJ and live music from Godbless Band and Navy Band.
Bridal train included Waje, Empress Njamah, Chika Ike, Queen Nwokoye, Goldie while Ghanaian actress, Yvonee Nelson played the role of the chief bridesmaid.
