I have watched and reviewed several Nollywood films but this kind of stands apart. The story-line is both intriguing and political. The Roseline Sanni Ajose Movie is presented by Inspiration Production.
It is a true life story about modern day slavery and human trafficking. This is a lucrative criminal activity which is still going on all around the world but I think the focus of this movie is on Africans and Nigerians in particular.
The producers claim that slavery is alive and kicking around us and more shockingly, it is on the rise in Unitef Kingdom.
This movie will show how it is being uncovered and the and how people are fighting against it.
According to statistics verified by the movie's producer there are an estimated 10,000 to 13,000 potential victims in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, at least 10 people including children are trafficked every week into the UK
These people face violence, exploitation and all forms of abuse. On 2015, to protect people and to criminalise this offense, the Modern Slavery Act 2015 was enacted.
