Are you in love with your spouse? Here are 21 signs that show you are really in love

  1. To make an effort to look good and smell nice all the time -  at home with your spouse, at bed time, when going round to take out the rubbish and even...just after having a baby. You are constantly checking yourself out in the mirror and want to give your best side.
  2. You brush your teeth twice a day and wear matching underwear!
  3. You want to please your partner at every opportunity by doing things that they like, such as cooking what they really love, yes, you go the extra, extra mile. You buy them presents, style your hair that particular way that they told you they like it and you wear cloths that they like.
  4. You want to talk to your other half all the time on the phone, face to face, by text and so on. It's like you can't have enough of them. Your friends too get their own full share of how nice your partner is.
  5. You are always smiling. Nothing affects you negatively, you have the best thing in the world on your side so life feels good and looks good.
  6. You want to take them home to meet your parents. If you are so in love with your partner, so would your family. If you are already married, you say their name a million times every minute and show them off at every opportunity.
  7. You have petty squabbles about not seeing your partner enough. You want to be in their company all the time and you don't want other people to be the ones enjoying their company. You just want them to be nearby ALL the time.
  8. Your heart beats just talking or thinking about your other half. You are so excited about your relationship that it shows on your face. You don't have to say anything but your friends and family can see that you are happy and beaming with happiness and joy.
  9. You want to rush home to tell them about your day. Your friends are now second best, you stop telling them every single detail about your relationship and they only get to hear what your partner has bought you, where you went or what they said not really romantic things you both did together.
  10. You both have little private jokes, your secret song, a special place and you want to experience them over and over again.
  11. You look through emails and phone contacts, texts , social networking sites to see who is contacting your partner so that you can exterminate them as quickly and quietly as possible. You trust him and believe in him but you want to make sure you have no rivals.
  12. Your spouse looks good to you all the time and everything they say makes you laugh or makes sense. You trust them to be the best all the time even when you are not together.
  13. You want to make them look better so you buy them jewelry, clothing, perfumes, shoes and hair products or suggest a good hairstylist.
  14. You feel  threatened when their old flame turns up or you bump into an old friend of the opposite sex and they start talking casually about their childhood and other experiences. You feel shut out and think they have come to snatch your partner.
  15. You think they are the best lover in bed that you have ever had...and if they are the only one, you think you made the best decision by choosing them.
  16. You sit in restaurants and gaze into each others eyes and take forever to finish your meal - that's if you get to finish the meal.
  17. You go to the club and leave early... there are better things to do with your time such as snuggle up in bed and talk till early morn about not very relevant things.
  18. You cut his nails and shave his hair. For the men, you pay for her hair and buy her new undies and elegant clothes, wristwatches, shoes,  jewelry and even in some cases, houses and cars!
  19. You discuss your future plans like education, careers, where you want to live, your beliefs and morals in life and persuade them to gel with you.
  20. Life is so exciting that you hardly notice other people or other things happening around you like what happened in Syria.
  21. You want to get married and have babies together!
So, there you are...if you are smiling now and nodding your head, it means you are still in love. If you are frowning and shaking your head or just starring, then you are NOT in love! Keep searching if you have not found the ONE...and try some of the ideas above. Look good, be nice, have a good heart, smile, be your best, go out, meet new people, consider people you already hang out with and pray and hopefully your other half will show up. But, love does grow in a relationship and if you keep looking for the good in your spouse instead of focusing on the negative you will fall in love with them again with time - trust me!
