I had been trying to get into a position for the past couple of years but things just seemed to happen so I have not got the job. First, I missed the interview, then I waited another year for another interview, then the job was cancelled because government funding stopped!
Now, the first time I thought it was my mistake. I didn't check my emails as frequently as I needed to. But the second time around, I'm thinking maybe it's not meant to be.
However, on second thoughts, I'm thinking, if Mr KFC stopped knocking on doors after two rejections, there would be no KFC today.
So, the lesson I have learned today: Sometimes a job, a business, a trip, a person and so on may not be for you. An employer knows who they need and it might not be you whether you are qualified or not. So, never give up - keep looking, keep trying, it is not over yet. When the right position comes and it is yours, no one and nothing will stop you from getting it.
